Erika Bain
FOUNDER & ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Erika Bain is LTC's Artistic Director and has more than a decade of experience as a professional director and theater educator. Before moving to Jacksonville almost fifteen years ago, Erika lived on Long Island, New York. A quick train ride to New York City allowed Erika to be trained by some of New York's best. She honed her skills as a director, musician, vocalist, and teacher while directing performances like Fiddler on the Roof, Grease, Crazy for You, and Once on This Island.
In 2011, Erika founded The Legacy Theater Company and directed more than one hundred different productions in our First Act.
Erika holds a B.S. in Education from Hofstra University and an M.A. in Literature and Writing from Stonybrook University.

Steven Bain
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Steven Bain is LTC's Executive Director. He joined Legacy's "Act One" in 2015 after serving in the US Marine Corps. Before coming to Jacksonville with the Marine Corps, Steven was a professional ballet dancer.
Steven began his career in the Houston Ballet Theater. During his six-year career in ballet, Steven was contracted with The Houston Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, and Ballet Idaho. He has also performed with the American Ballet Theater in New York City and Ballet Arizona.
After his career in ballet, Steven worked at The Knitting Factory, a production company based out of Boise, Idaho. Steven had the honor of working with The Smashing Pumpkins, Willie Nelson, Matisyahu, Hansen, and others. While with The Knitting Factory, Steven learned the skills that led him to take on the Executive Director role at Legacy Theater Company.
At LTC, Steven oversees all business management of the theater and the coordination of all activities, including planning and implementing our Concert Series, MainStage Season, and School of the Arts Programs with assistance from our Artistic Director.
Steven holds a B.S. in Business Management from Post University.

James Hose
TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
James Hose, Jr. is LTC's Technical Director. James has spent much time on Legacy's stage in roles such as Ebeneezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, Felix Ungar in The Odd Couple, and Ken Gorman in Rumors. But what our audiences may not know is that James also designs, sets up, maintains, and operates our lighting and sound systems.
James has been involved in technical design for over twenty years. He has operated, maintained, and safeguarded the technical assets of churches and theaters in Jacksonville and on Long Island, his hometown. Currently, James is supervising lighting, sound, communications equipment, and the use and maintenance of stage facilities at Legacy.
James holds a B.A. in Psychology from Post University.
